Woh. Google is buying Pyra, the company that produced Blogger, one of the first and better (imho) blogging sites. Blogs are definitely here to stay... at least for a while.

Oooo, snazzy pen!

There are two proposed designs still in the running for the replacement World Trade Center complex; numbers 1 and 4. It's amazing to me that it's already been a year and a half since the tragedy and that there will be a completely new structure in the works there quite soon.

Sweet! E-filing both federal and state taxes is finally completely free for those of us that make less than $27,000 a year. It appears to be completely paperless as well, if you have a little bit of info from last year's 1040.

Kottke's example of stereo photography. Neat stuff if you can get it to work for you! I found it easier to use the thumbnails than the full size shots.
